ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team wrapped up their Florida Trip with a win over Saint Mary's with a final score of 6-1. This improves the team to 4-5 overall this season.
The Fightin' Engineers earned the doubles point after sweeping all three doubles matches.
The No. 1 doubles team of
Owen Reynolds and
Ervin Perkowski picked up a win 6-3, The No. 2 doubles squad of
Grant Paradowski and
Andrew Leonard won 6-2, and the No. 3 doubles team of
Matthew Hydrick and
Eli McIntyre earned a victory 6-3.
The team continued their success, winning all but one of their singles matches to secure the win in their Florida Trip finale.
Joao Henrique Nossar led the team at No. 1 singles with an exciting win 1-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8). Paradowski won his second match of the day at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-2. McIntyre rounded out the top three singles players with his second victory of the day in No. 3 singles 6-4, 6-3.
Rose-Hulman will return home to host Hanover College in HCAC action on Saturday, March 15, at 2 PM.
