WHEATON, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers traveled to take on Wheaton on Saturday afternoon. The team suffered a loss to the Thunder to snap their four-match winning streak with a final score of 6-1. This drops the team to 7-10 overall this season.
The Fightin' Engineers fell behind early after being swept by the Thunder in doubles competition.Â
Julia Burt was the standout in singles competition, earning a win at the No. 6 spot 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7).
The women's tennis team will return to action, traveling to face Franklin and IU-Southeast on Saturday, April 19, at 10 AM and 1 PM.Â
