NORMAL, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman women's golf team earned a 17th-place finish at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling hosted by Illinois Wesleyan this weekend with a final team score of 693.

Meg Fosnot was the top finisher for Rose-Hulman, placing tied for 47th after shooting rounds of 82 (+10) and 85 (+13) to total a score of 167 (+23). 

Erin Nolan was another standout, finishing tied for 76th with round scores of 87 (+17) and 87 (+15) for a score of 174 (+30). 

Ashley Zimmermann rounded out the top three finishers for the Fightin' Engineers with a tie for 86th individually with round scores of 91 (+19) and 85 (+13) for a total score of 176 (+32).

The women's golf team will look ahead to compete in the HCAC Championships in Lexington, Kentucky, from Friday, May 2, to Sunday, May 4.
