TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers competed at the highly prestigious John McNichols Invitational. The meet consisted of nearly all Division I teams, where the Fightin' Engineers posted a 34th-place finish.
 
Senior John Gries achieved Rose-Hulman's best time as he finished in 223rd place with a time of 27:10.9.
 
Freshman Grayson Rorick finished seconds shy of Gries, placing 226th with a time of 27:12.5.
 
Senior Chris Lynn took 242nd place in 27:53.2, while senior Morgan Stratton placed 244th in 27:54.5. Sophomore Chase Delaney rounded out Rose-Hulman's top five as he came in 247th place with a time of 28:01.1.
 
#9 BYU won the competition with 71 points as a team. #21 Florida added a second-place finish with 119 points, while Washington rounded out the top three with 190 points.
 
Rose-Hulman will return to the LaVern Gibson Championship Course for the Nike Twilight on Friday, October 2 at 6:40 PM.
