GREENVILLE, Ill. – The Fightin' Engineers came up short in a competitive match with the Greenville Panthers, dropping by a score of 4-3.
Rose-Hulman secured the doubles point as
Emerson Donaldson and
Nova Gladden picked up a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles, while
Kaitlyn Pfund and
Autumn Korey recorded a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
Korey continued to thrive as she defeated her opponent at No. 2 singles by scores of 6-3 and 7-6.
Abigail Kallio recorded Rose-Hulman's final point at No. 6 singles, winning both sets by scores of 6-2 and 6-1.
Rose-Hulman will continue the season at the ITA Regionals on Friday, September 25, through Sunday, September 27, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
