KANSASVILLE, Wis. – Rose-Hulman recorded a 19th-place finish out of 43 teams at the Midwest Region Classic. The Fightin' Engineers posted a team score of 608 (+32).
Freshman
Wilson Knight had a terrific showing as he tied for tenth place with a 144 (E) score as an independent golfer. He recorded ten birdies, with four coming on the front nine of round one.
Freshman
Frank Colbert tied for 33rd place with a score of 148 (+4). His tournament was highlighted by a 72 (E) score on round two, where he hit an eagle on a par-five hole of 501 yards.
Junior
Nathan Rich and freshman
Evan Booth each tied for 87th-place with scores of 153 (+9). Rich recorded five birdies while Booth added two.
Freshman
Pablo Colin rounded out Rose-Hulman's top five scorers, tying for 101st-place with a 154 (+10) score. Colin totaled six birdies, with three coming on each round.
Rose-Hulman will continue the season at the Wabash College Invitational on Monday, October 5 through Tuesday, October 6.
