Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Kristen Kauffman enters her 24th season on the athletic training staff at Rose-Hulman during the upcoming 2026-27 academic year.

Kauffman was named the Head Athletic Trainer in the spring of 2026, having previously worked as the associate athletic trainer since December 2016. Kauffman serves as the Rose-Hulman's team athletic trainer for the women's soccer, women's basketball, and track squads, while providing assistance with the remaining varsity sports. 

Kauffman worked for the United States Olympic Committee in the ARCO Olympic Training Center during the 2001-02 year. She provided coverage to athletes in 12 Olympic sports, including soccer, track and softball.

Kauffman has also worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Indiana State University, where she served as an athletic training coordinator for the 2003 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Cross Country National Championship.
