CHICAGO, ILL. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology stands 4-2-3 on the women's soccer season after battling North Park University to a scoreless draw on Saturday night.
Sophomore goalkeeper Lucinda Combs (Danville, Ky./Boyle County) recorded her fifth shutout in nine matches this season to lead the Rose-Hulman effort. Combs tallied nine saves in the effort.
North Park earned a statistical advantage on shots by a 21-4 count. Katrina Dekirmendjian led the Vikings offense with eight shots.
Senior Nicky Wheeler (Avon) paced the Rose-Hulman offense with two shots.
Rose-Hulman stands 4-2-3 on the season and has lost just once in its last eight matches. The Fightin' Engineers return to action with a match at crosstown rival St. Mary-of-the-Woods on Tuesday.
