TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology vs. Calvin College NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament opening round match has been moved to Hope College and will now take place at 5 p.m. on Friday.

The two squads will square off on a turf field at Hope College at 5 p.m., rather than the originally set site at Calvin College, due to uncertainty regarding the weather in Michigan over the next 24 hours.

Rose-Hulman stands 14-4-3 on the season, while Calvin has a record of 18-2-1 entering the NCAA Tournament.  The host Knights are ranked No. 4 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America weekly poll.

Rose-Hulman and Calvin are joined in a four-team regional by Ohio Wesleyan and Penn State-Behrend, who will now square off at 7:30 p.m.  The second round contest will be played on Saturday at 5 p.m.  Tickets prices at the game site will be $6 (adults), $3 (senior citizens and students) and $2 (children ages 3-12).

Rose-Hulman qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament for the second consecutive year and the third time in the last four seasons with Saturday's 1-0 victory at Transylvania University that featured an overtime goal from junior Brent Kamer.  The Fightin' Engineers enter the NCAA Tournament with a record of 14-4-3 overall, highlighted by five consecutive victories.

Rose-Hulman reached the NCAA Division III Sweet Sixteen last season with a dramatic tournament run that included a 1-0 victory over No. 1 ranked and undefeated Ohio Wesleyan University in the NCAA Round of 32.  This year's squad features one of the nation's top ranked defenses, as Rose-Hulman has recorded 13 shutouts and allowed just 11 goals in 21 matches.

Offensively, three Rose-Hulman players have reached double figures in points this season.  Sophomore Ben Lyon leads the team with eight goals and 16 points.  Junior Dieter Schultz and freshman Austin Webb have contributed 10 points each.  Schultz leads the team with six assists, while Webb has scored four goals to rank second on the squad.

Goalkeeper Drew Miller enters the NCAA Division III Tournament with a career record of 49-16-11 and a school record 35 career shutouts.  Miller ranks among the NCAA Division III national leaders in goals against average (0.50) and save percentage (.866) entering the tournament.

The experienced defensive unit is highlighted by 84 career starts from HCAC Tournament Most Valuable Player Andrew Bartush.  Other multiple-year starters for the Engineers include junior Mike Smyser, sophomore Alex Jansen, sophomore Nick Kowalkowski and sophomore Brad Rostron.  Rose-Hulman is ranked No. 6 in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region this week by the NSCAA.

Calvin won the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association regular season and conference tournament championships this season.  Senior Travis Vegter ranks among the national leaders with 23 goals, and the Knights have allowed just 10 goals in 21 matches.  Niko Giantsopoulos has recorded 55 saves and a 0.54 goals against average to lead the Knight defense.
