TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team plays host to DePauw University Wednesday, Sept. 17. The game is slated to begin at 7 p.m. at the Intramural Field.

Rose-Hulman comes into the game unbeaten with a 4-0-2 record having beaten both Principia and Illinois Wesleyan 2-0 on the road. The Fightin' Engineers used two second-half goals in both games to secure victories with junior Marco Cattani and sophomore Tyler Blankenship scoring against Principia. Senior Andrew Bartush and sophomore Ben Lyon provided the goals against Illinois Wesleyan.
DePauw comes into the game with a 4-2 record having defeated Hanover 5-0 and Thomas More 2-1 last week. The Tigers' two losses on the season are to Ohio Northern 3-2 in double overtime and a 1-0 loss to Franklin.
Rose-Hulman and DePauw have one common opponent in Principia. DePauw edged the Panthers 1-0 on a penalty kick goal in the 43rd minute.
DePauw head coach Brad Hauter spent five years (2003-07) as Rose-Hulman's men's soccer team before taking the job at his alma mater.
Rose-Hulman has a career 2-31-2 record against DePauw. The last time the Engineers defeated the Tigers was a 2-1 victory in 2006. Rose-Hulman also defeated DePauw in 1999.
After the game with DePauw, Rose-Hulman travels to Danville, Ky., for a 4 p.m. game against Centre followed by home games with Wabash and North Park. These are the final three games of Rose-Hulman's non-conference schedule.
