TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology returns to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer action with a Saturday home matchup against Manchester University at 3:30 p.m.
Rose-Hulman stands 8-2-3 on the season after defeating Franklin College 3-2 on Wednesday. The Fightin' Engineers are also 3-0-1 in HCAC play. Manchester has a 4-6-3 record and is 1-2-1 in conference play.
Sophomore Austin Webb leads Rose-Hulman's offense with five goals and 13 points. Junior Alex Jansen has added 10 points on four goals and two assists.
Junior Ben Lyon (three goals, three assists) and senior Dieter Schultz (two goals, five assists) have contributed nine points each.
Sophomore Carter Wright leads the goalkeeping performance with a 5-1-3 record and a 0.98 GAA. Sophomore Michael Lawrence is 3-1 with a 0.87 GAA this season.
After Saturday's matchup, Rose-Hulman travels to Earlham for an in-state road matchup on Wednesday.
