TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology hosts Hanover College in an in-state Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball matchup on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Hulbert Arena.
The Fightin' Engineers enters Saturday's match with an 11-15 record, while Hanover is 15-7 and 5-0 in league play. Rose-Hulman narrowly fell in five sets to Mount St. Joseph at Hulbert Arena on Wednesday night.
Freshman Julia Hammond and freshman Bailey MacInnis lead the Fightin' Engineers with 202 kills and 168 kills, respectively. Sophomoer Becca Poppel has added 140 kills.
Senior Sarah Jensen (403) and freshman Marissa Gollnick (347) have led the squad in assists, while sophomore Gabi Razma ranks among the NCAA Division III national leaders in digs (5.58) and digs per set (5.69).
The blocking effort has been led by junior Emily McLendon (87) and sophomore Mackenzie Gossard (75). Gossard also has a team-high 26 service aces.
After Saturday's match, Rose-Hulman returns to action with a trip to Earlham College on Sunday at 2 p.m.
