TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology hosts Defiance College on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. for their first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play of the season.
Rose-Hulman stands 5-2-2 on the season with wins over Centre, Principia, Greenville, Millikin, DePauw, and two recent ties against Wheaton College and Illinois Wesleyan. The Fightin' Engineers are coming off of a double overtime tie against Illinois Wesleyan University.
Defiance College has an overall record of 4-5 on the season with a loss to Ohio Northern and a win against Baldwin Wallace.
Austin Webb leads the offense with four goals, and Turner Perkins and Ben Lyon follow with two goals on the season. Dieter Schultz has three assists on the season with Alex Jansen and Lyon follow with two assists. Carter Wright has a 2-1 record at the goalkeeper position, and Michael Lawrence has a 3-1 record in goal.
After Saturday's game, Rose-Hulman returns to action at home against Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
