ANDERSON, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology travels to Anderson University in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball matchup on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Fightin' Engineers enters Wednesday's match with an 13-16 record, while Anderson is 9-17 and 1-6 in league play. Rose-Hulman recently beat Defiance on Saturday evening in four sets.
Freshman Julia Hammond and freshman Bailey MacInnis lead the Fightin' Engineers with 230 kills and 188 kills, respectively. Sophomore Becca Poppel has added 156 kills.
Senior Sarah Jensen (466) and freshman Marissa Gollnick (347) have led the squad in assists, while sophomore Gabi Razma ranks among the NCAA Division III national leaders in digs (630) and digs per set (5.78).
The blocking effort has been led by junior Emily McLendon (96) and sophomore Mackenzie Gossard (83). Gossard also has a team-high 26 service aces.
After Wednesday's match, Rose-Hulman will travel to Transylvania University at 2 p.m. for the Fightin' Engineers final regular season contest.
