TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed five players in double figures and shot 47.3% from the field in 86-76 loss to No. 24 Illinois Wesleyan in the championship game of the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational on Sunday.
Senior Jimmy Miller led the balanced attack with 21 points on 7-13 from the field and 6-7 on the foul line. He also recorded 11 rebounds for his third career double-double. Junior Collin Wojcik also reached double figures with 12 points and six rebounds.
Senior Matt Loesing recorded 11 points on 5-8 shooting from the field. Senior Tyler Duffy also reached double figures with 10 points.
Other key contributors included senior Dillon Reynolds with 10 points and three assists and Wade Stallings with seven points and three assists.
Bryce Dolan led Illinois Wesleyan with 18 points and Jaylen Beasley contributed 16 points.
Rose-Hulman has moved to 2-1 on the season. The Fightin' Engineers will host their first home game of the season on Tuesday against Wabash College at 7:30 p.m. in Hulbert Arena.
