NCAA DIVING REGIONAL HOMEPAGE
CHICAGO, Ill. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology juniors Regen Foote and Sam Gould represented the Fightin' Engineers with a strong performance at the NCAA Division III Diving Regional on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
Gould recorded one of the best three-meter 11-dive scores of his career on Friday night with 440.4 points. His efforts ranked 19th of 28 competitors in a meet featuring the top small college divers in the Midwest.
Foote crossed the 400-point mark in one-meter diving for the second time in her career with 401.4 points on Friday. Her efforts ranked 22nd of the 30 competitors in the meet.
Both divers came home 27th in their Saturday competitions. Gould tallied 386.80 points in one-meter diving, while Foote tallied 390.95 points on the three-meter board.
Gould swept both the one-meter and three-meter College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championships this season, while Foote earned her fifth career all-conference award earlier this month.
