WHEATON, Ill. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology hits the road to face perennial national power Wheaton University in a men's soccer matchup on Saturday at 7 p.m. Central Time.
Rose-Hulman stands 4-2 on the season with wins over Centre, Principia, Greenville and Millikin. The Fightin' Engineers have also dropped narrow 1-0 decisions to Chicago and Wabash.
Wheaton has a 3-2 record after earning the preseason No. 2 national ranking from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Thunder have defeated Bethel, Oglethorpe and Berry, with losses to Washington University and Loras.
Austin Webb is the reigning HCAC Player of the Week and leads the offense with four goals. Carter Wright and Michael Lawrence each have 2-1 records at the goalkeeper position.
After Saturday night's matchup, Rose-Hulman returns to action at DePauw University on Wednesday night.
