TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology opens the 2015 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball schedule with a home matchup against Bluffton University on Saturday at 3 p.m.
The Fightin' Engineers stand 8-8 on the season, while Bluffton entered a non-conference match on Thursday night with a 7-6 record. Rose-Hulman retuns home for the first time since hosting its own Invitational on Sept. 12-13.
Rose-Hulman qualified for its sixth consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament last year by placing in the top six in the league regular season standings. Bluffton qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2009, 2013 and 2014, while Rose-Hulman earned a trip to the National Tournament in 2011.
After Saturday's matchup, the Fightin' Engineers return home to face Manchester University on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Hulbert Arena.
