TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology makes its second road trip to St. Louis in the opening week of the volleyball season to compete at the Washington University Invitational starting Friday night.
The Fightin' Engineers started the season with a 2-0 record in matches against Webster and Fontbonne in St. Louis on Tuesday night. Rose-Hulman won each match in four sets.
Friday's opposition includes North Central at 6 p.m. Central Time and Webster at 8 p.m. Central Time. North Central has a record of 2-0 entering the weekend, while Webster stands 1-1.
On Saturday, the Fightin' Engineers face Rhodes College at 9:30 a.m. Central Time and Blackburn College at 11:30 a.m. Central Time. Rhodes enters the weekend with a 1-0 record, while Blackburn stands 0-1.
After this weekend, Rose-Hulman returns to action with a trip to St. Mary-of-the-Woods on Wednesday night.
