TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team will look to finish Heartland Conference play undefeated when the team travels to Hanover College on Saturday Octboer 29. Having already claimed at least a share of the HCAC Regular Season Championship, the Fightin' Engineers need a win to claim the #1 overall seed. At 8-0 in HCAC, play the men have already clinched and at least one home game in the Heartland Conference Tournament which begins next week.
On Wednesday October 26, the men won their eighth consecutive game when the Fightin' Engineers defeated Franklin College 4-0. Junior Austin Webb scored two goals in the second half to lead the RHIT assault. He now has nine goals on the year.
Hanover enters Saturday's game with an overall record of 14-3 and the Panthers are 7-1 in the HCAC. Rose-Hulman is 12-5 in 2016 and remain a perfect 8-0 in conference play.
