TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won 10 events to defeat Wabash College 184-114 in men's swimming and diving action at the Sports & Recreation Center Natatorium on Saturday.
Senior Pierce Bartine and junior Cam Gill led the performances with two individual wins and two relay victories each. Bartine won the 50-freestyle (21.93) and 100-butterfly (50.92) individual events, while Gill won the 100-backstroke (54.04) and the 200-backstroke (1:59.16).
Other individual winners included Nicholas Jeronis in the 500-freestyle (4:59.20); Patrick King in the 200-butterfly (1:58.69); Tyler Sariscsany in the 100-freestyle (49.32); and Daniel Skiroock in the 200-freestyle (1:49.70).
Rose-Hulman also swept the 200-medley relay and 400-freestyle relay events. The 200-medley relay team included Gill, Nick Samra, Bartine and Sariscsany in 1:38.23. The 400-freestyle relay squad of Bartine, Sariscsany, Gill and Nate Weber captured first-place honors in 3:14.42.
Rose-Hulman returns to action with a men's matchup against Evansville, and a women's contest against Indiana State and Evansville, next Saturday at the Vigo County Aquatic Center.
