BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology volleyball team returns to action at the Illinois Wesleyan Volleyball Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Rose-Hulman will face William Woods (5:30 p.m. CT) and Simpson College (7:30 p.m. CT) on Friday night, then returns to the court Saturday to square off against Benedictine (10 a.m. CT) and Coe (Noon CT).
Rose-Hulman stands 0-4 after competing at one of the region's top tournaments of the 2016 season last weekend. Team statistical leaders so far include Adekite Oladipupo (27) and Becca Poppel (26) in kills; Alison Rogozinski with 76 assists and six service aces; Gabi Razma with 68 digs; and Emily McLendon with 14 blocks and a .360 hitting percentage.
William Woods has a 6-5 mark entering this week's play, while Simpson stands 3-1. Benedictine stands 1-3 overall, and Coe has a 2-2 mark entering this week's action.
After the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational, Rose-Hulman will make its home debut against crosstown foe St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Sept. 14.
