BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving team placed second in the Illinois Wesleyan Halloween Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Rose-Hulman won a pair of events, including one swimming and one diving event. Samantha Stevens captured one-meter diving with 214.95 points, while the 300-butterfly relay of Melissa Arbelaez, Elle Nowakowski and Bethany Lefeber won in 3:17.31.
Runner-up finishers included Lefeber in the 100-freestyle (1:00.03); Arbelaez in the 200-backstroke (2:23.87); Michaela Kivett in one-meter diving (198.90); and the 200 medley, 300 medley and 300 breaststroke relay teams.
