TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team will travel to Hanover College on Wednesday November 1st for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinals. The Fightin' Engineers will be the No. 3 seed while Hanover College has earned the No. 2 seed. On the other side of the tournament bracket, Manchester secured the No. 4 seed, while Transylvania claimed the No. 1 seed.

* Rose-Hulman takes an overall record of 12-4-2 into postseason play.

Both teams have not lost since playing Transylvania. Rose-Hulman has gone 7-0-1 since playing Transylvania back on September 30th. Hanover has gone 4-0-1 since playing Transylvania back on October 11th. The Pioneers are the No. 1 seed in the HCAC Tournament.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Rose-Hulman men's soccer team went toe-to-toe with the visiting Hanover College Panthers on Saturday afternoon, playing to a scoreless draw.
The men's soccer program honored its senior class before the game commenced. The seven RHIT seniors honored Saturday afternoon included: Austin Webb, Michael Lawrence, Trevor Bednarek, Turner Pekrins, Carter Wright, Michel Farhat, and Davis Ferriell.
Play throughout the entire 110 minutes was physical, and six yellow cards were administered in the match.
Hanover held a 16-7 shot advantage in the match but the Fightin' Engieers nearly capitalized on several late scoring opportunities. Davis Ferriell's free kick in the 84th minute just sailed over the crossbar after Hanover's goalie Will Bedel deflected the shot.
The Panthers threatened late as well but Rose-Hulman goalie Michael Lawrence was able to preserve the scoreless tie by making several saves.
Ross Klauer, Austin Webb, and Davis Ferriell fired two shots apiece to lead the RHIT offense. Michael Lawrence and Carter Wright combined to make 10 saves in the match.
With the draw, Rose-Hulman advances to the HCAC Tournament Semifinal on Wednesday afternoon at Hanover College. Kickoff time from Hanover is TBA. The Fightin' Engineers will take a 12-4-2 overall record into postseason play.
