TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team will continue their playoff push on Saturday November 4th when the Fightin' Engineers, the No. 3 seed in the 2017 HCAC Tournament, travel to Lexington, Kentucky to play the No. 1 seed Transylvania Pioneers in the HCAC Championship game. It will be the fifth straight Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title game appearance for Rose-Hulman.

The Matchup: No. 3 Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers vs. No. 1 Transylvania University Pioneers
* Rose-Hulman enters Saturday's title bout with an overall record of 12-4-3.
* RHIT has not lost a match since the September 30 contest at Transylvania.

How We Got Here:
* Rose-Hulman advanced to the HCAC Title game after defeating No. 2 seed Hanover College 4-3 on penalty kicks following a 1-1 draw.
* Senior captain Turner Perkins scored Rose-Hulman's lone goal during regulation in the 31st minute. Perkins then stepped up and converted the game clinching penalty kick.
* Goalie Carter Wright made two diving saves in the penalty shootout to help advance RHIT to the HCAC Championship game.
* No. 1 seed Transylvania beat No. 4 seed Manchester by a final score of 1-0 on Wednesday in the other HCAC Semifinal matchup.
* Griffin Lamb scored the lone goal of the match in the 21st minute for the Pioneers.
* Goalies Drew Grisham and Chandler Gaunce combined for six saves in the Transylvania win.
What's At Stake:
* The winner of the HCAC Championship game will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament.
* Rose-Hulman will look to earn its sixth trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2008 and its fourth trip in the last five years.
* The Pioneers will look to win their first HCAC Tournament Title since 2012.
