ADA, Ohio -- Nick Palmer and Josh Himes represented Rose-Hulman with strong performances at the Ohio Northern Last Chance Meet on Saturday.

Palmer cleared a season-best pole vault mark of 15' 7 1/4" to place third in the overall field.  Himes came home third in the shot put (50' 8 3/4") and was fourth in the weight throw (50' 11 1/2").

The NCAA Division III track and field national championships, with qualifiers announced in the coming days, take place next weekend at North Central College in Naperville, Ill.
