ROSE-HULMAN NEWS & NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands 3-2 in conference play with home wins over Manchester, Bluffton and Anderson..
* Andrew Dion has passed for 1,401 yards and 10 touchdowns, while completing 53% of his passes, to direct the Fightin' Engineer offense.
* Garrett Wight has led the ground game with 481 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Maxwell Hatch has also crossed the 200-yard mark (222) with two rushing touchdowns.
* Noah Thomas leads the receiving corps with 45 receptions for 624 yards and six touchdowns. Thomas set a school record with 226 receiving yards and three scores in last week's win over Anderson.
* Sawyer Young has added three touchdown catches to provide offensive depth.
* Defensively, Coleson Carmell is the team's leading tackler with 52 stops.
* Jack Heyl has a team-high 7.5 sacks, with Mike Riley adding 4.5 sacks and Matt Michalak four sacks. John Kirby and Parker Lappin have three interceptions each, with Mitchell Kelley and Zach Phillips hauling in two interceptions this season.
* Adam Clark has made 4-6 field goal attampts with a long of 35 yards. He is also 15-20 on extra points. Seth Knoll has 10 punts inside the 20-yard line, and Jake Zimmerman averages 36.4 yards per boot.
* Head coach Jeff Sokol picked up his 50th career win during the team's Homecoming game vs. Bluffton.
DEFIANCE NOTES:
* Defiance is led by first-year head coach Manny Matsakis.
* The Yellow Jackets have crossed the 20-point mark in a game twice this season with 26 points at Manchester and 28 at home against Franklin.
* Logan Mico has passed for 1,093 yards and six touchdowns. Corey Bennett leads the ground game with 489 rushing yards and two scores.
* Jacob Vorce (28 rec., 396 yards) and Jason Santora (23 rec., 328 yards) lead the receiving corps with two touchdowns.
* Jalin Nealy has a team-high 84 tackles. Cody Drumm-Turner has 3 interceptions to help lead the defense.
