Football Team Travels to Hanover for In-State Matchup on Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology hits the road for Hanover College to face an in-state HCAC foe on Saturday at 2 p.m.

MEDIA GAME NOTES

ROSE-HULMAN NEWS & NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands 4-2 in conference play with three consecutive wins entering this week's matchup..
* Andrew Dion has passed for 1,560 yards and 12 touchdowns, while completing 54% of his passes, to direct the Fightin' Engineer offense.
* Garrett Wight has led the ground game with 567 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.  Maxwell Hatch (232) and Noah Thomas (229) have also rushed for over 200 yards.
* Thomas leads the receiving corps with 50 receptions for 667 yards and seven touchdowns.  He ranks No. 2 in the HCAC in receiving yards per game (111.2).
* Sawyer Young has added three touchdown catches to provide offensive depth.
* Defensively, Coleson Carmell is the team's leading tackler with 59 stops.  Jack Heyl has a team-high 7.5 sacks, with Matt Michalak adding six sacks. 
* Parker Lappin has hauled in a team-high four interceptions, and the duo of John Kirby and Zach Phillips have three interceptions each.
* Adam Clark has made 4-6 field goal attampts with a long of 35 yards.  He is also 20-25 on extra points.  Seth Knoll has booted 12 punts inside the 20-yard line, and Jake Zimmerman averages 36.4 yards per boot.
* Head coach Jeff Sokol picked up his 50th career win during the team's Homecoming game vs. Bluffton.

HANOVER NOTES:
* Hanover had a five-game winning streak snapped in a narrow 19-15 loss to Mount St. Joseph on Saturday.
* The Panthers had scored 48 or more points in four straight weeks prior to the Mount St. Joseph loss.
* Noah Wezensky and AJ Breit have led a Hanover passing offense that completes 64% of its passes for 2,074 yards and 28 touchdowns.
* Shawn Coane has crossed 1,000 rushing yards at 1,031 this season.
* Jackson Daugherty leads the receivers with 39 catches for 630 yards and six touchdowns.
* Kyle Treber has a team-high 70 tackles.  Other team leaders include Zach Dauer (6.5 sacks), Dakota Manion (2 INTs) and Kornell Dash (2 INTs).
