DEFIANCE, Ohio -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer was able to pick up a road win after an outstanding defensive performance against the Defiance Yellow Jackets 3-0 on Saturday, 10/6. This improves the Engineers to 6-4-1 overall and 3-0 in the HCAC.
Will McGowen was able to strike first for the Engineers in the 13th minute to give them the early lead. The score would be 1-0 at the end of the first half.
Ross Klauer was able to get to the net in the 55th minute after an assist from Charles Lynch to extend the Engineer's lead. Rose-Hulman would score again with a goal from Michel Farhat in the 82nd minute after an assist form Sam Alvares.
Rose-Hulman would end the game outshooting the Yellow Jackets 24-10. The team would end the match victorious defeating Defiance with a final score of 3-0.
The Engineers will continue HCAC competition as they host Hanover College on Wednesday, 10/10 at 7:00 PM.
