TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Hanover College was able to defeat the Engineers 6-3 after picking up two doubles matches in Saturday's women's tennis match.

Rose-Hulman was able to come away with a victory in one of their doubles matches.  The team of Naomi Bhagat and Anna Thompson were able to defeat the Hanover duo in No. 1 doubles competition 8-3.  

In singles play, Bhagat was able to win 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 and Fanny-Jane Banda finished with a win 6-1, 1-6, 1-0 at No. 3.

This loss drops the Engineers to 4-2 overall and 4-2 in the HCAC.  Rose-Hulman will host Franklin College Sunday, 10/7 at 11:00 AM.  The team will be wearing orange and blue to spread awareness for kidney and prostate cancer.
