TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team hits the road for Fontbonne University and a men's basketball matchup in St. Louis on Tuesday at 7 pm Central Time.

Rose-Hulman (1-1) News & Notes:
- Rose-Hulman defeated LaGrange 78-72 and lost 74-62 at the Rhodes College Tip-off Tournament last weekend.  Charlie Aimone led four players in double figures with 18 points against LaGrange, and Ryuji Aoki paced two players in double figures with 17 points against Louisiana College.

Rose-Hulman has been selected as preseason favorites to win the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference basketball title this season, according to the preseason coaches poll.  Rose-Hulman received 7 first-place votes, with Transylvania at 2 and Hanover at 1.

Rose-Hulman returns four starters from last season's HCAC regular season championship team.  The Fightin' Engineers have reached the HCAC championship five times in the last seven years, including three trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament (2012, '13, '14).

Charlie Aimone was a 2nd-team all-HCAC choice for the second straight year in 2017-18.  Aimone has scored 995 career points entering Tuesday's game at Fontbonne. 
 
- Rose-Hulman currently has four players averaging double figures in scoring.  Ryuji Aoki leads the team at 15.0 points per game, with Charlie Aimone (12.5 ppg), Luke Callahan (11.5 ppg) and Craig McGee (10.0 ppg) also averaging double figures.
- After Tuesday's game, the Fightin' Engineers head to Wabash on Monday.  The home opener - Old National Bank Night - is set for Wed. Nov. 28 against DePauw at 7:30 pm.
