Men's Basketball Returns Home vs. Boyce on Thursday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team hosts Boyce in a non-conference matchup on Thursday.

Rose-Hulman (4-4, 2-1 HCAC) News & Notes:

The HCAC standings are off to a tight start with six teams tied for the top spot at 2-1 in league play. Rose-Hulman has wins over Defiance and Mount St. Joseph, along with a narrow loss to Transylvania.
Charlie Aimone led the Fightin' Engineers in scoring average at 18.0 points per game last week. Aimone scored 19 points in a win at Mount St. Joseph and had 17 points in the Transylvania game at home on Saturday.
The Rose-Hulman offensive attack features three players averaging in double figures and two more players very close to that mark. Charlie Aimone leads the team at 14.8 points per game, Craig McGee adds 11.4, and John Czarnecki is scoring 10.3. Ryuji Aoki (9.8 ppg) and Luke Callahan (9.0 ppg) also balance the offense.
After Thursday's game, Rose-Hulman travels to Manchester on Saturday. The next home game is Dec. 22 vs. Millikin.

The Opponent: Boyce (0-9, 0-3 NCCAA)

Boyce seeks its first win of the season and will be playing its second game in the last three nights.
The busy week on the Boyce schedule began with an 81-66 loss Tuesday at Sewanee and continues Saturday at home against Centre.
Boyce features two double figure scorers, with AJ Caldwell averaging 15.0 points per game and Bailey Benham scoring 14.0.
