The HCAC standings are off to a tight start with six teams tied for the top spot at 2-1 in league play. Rose-Hulman has wins over Defiance and Mount St. Joseph, along with a narrow loss to Transylvania.
- Rose-Hulman shot 62% from the field and 65% from three-point range to defeat Boyce 93-67 on Thursday. Four players scored in double figures in the victory, led by Ryuji Aoki with 18 points. Craig McGee added 16 points, and Eli Combs joined David Saadatnezhadi with 10 points each.
- The win over Boyce included career-high scoring performances for David Saadatnezhadi (10), Samvit Ram (7), Trey Wurtz (7), Myon McGee (3) and Charlie Klein (2).

The Rose-Hulman offensive attack features three players averaging in double figures and two more players very close to that mark.
Charlie Aimone leads the team at 13.6 points per game,
Craig McGee adds 11.9, and
Ryuji Aoki is scoring 10.7.
John Czarnecki (9.7 ppg) and
Luke Callahan (9.0 ppg) also balance the offense.

After Saturday's game, Rose-Hulman plays its final non-conference game of the 2018-19 season at home against Millikin on Dec. 22.
The Opponent: Manchester (3-5, 1-2 HCAC)
- Manchester also picked up a non-conference win this week, defeating Aquinas 85-77.
- Adrian Johnson is one of the top performers in the HCAC, currently averaging 19.9 points per game.
- The Spartans picked up their HCAC victory 76-70 at Defiance earlier this month.
