DECATUR, Ill. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology scored the lone goal with 1:56 left in regulation, as the Fightin' Engineers earned a 1-0 men's soccer road win at Millikin University on Saturday night.
Wyatt McKibbon sent a pass into the Millikin box that was deflected off a Big Blue defender for the lone goal of the game. The score helped the Fightin' Engineers snap a scoreless tie in a tightly contested matchup that featured each team firing 12 shots.
Ross Klauer, PJ Renz and Brevin Lacy led the Rose-Hulman offense with two shots each. Pascal Schlee earned his second shutout of the season with three saves in the Fightin' Engineer net.
Rose-Hulman takes a 2-2-1 record into Wednesday's home matchup with DePauw University.
