TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on a strong team performance to top Earlham College 9-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis action on Wednesday at the Joy Hulbert Tennis Center.
The Fightin' Engineers won 8-0 in doubles play with a victory by Naomi Bhagat and Breanna Rogers.
In singles play, the Fightin' Engineers did not lose a single game with victories by Anna Thompson won at No. 1; Fanny-Jane Banda at No. 2; and Emma Goodman at No. 3.
Rose-Hulman improved to 5-2 and 3-1 in HCAC play with the victory. The Fightin' Engineers return to action at Hanover College on Saturday afternoon.
