Men's Basketball Travels to Bluffton on Saturday at 3 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology travels to Bluffton University for an HCAC matchup on Saturday at 3 pm.

Rose-Hulman (2-6, 0-2 HCAC) News & Notes:

  • Rose-Hulman junior Craig McGee recorded the first triple-double in the 113-year Fightin' Engineer men's basketball history against Defiance.  McGee scored 16 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the 83-73 loss.
  • Craig McGee leads the Fightin' Engineers in scoring (16.7 ppg), rebounds (8.7 rpg) and assists (6.8 apg).  He has career totals of 800 points, 333 rebounds and 321 assists at Rose-Hulman.  The junior already ranks No. 7 in Rose-Hulman history in career assists, and needs just 4 more to move into the all-time top five
  • Zach Callahan scored a career-high 23 points in an 84-83 win over Aurora, including the final points on two free throws with five seconds left.  Trey Wurtz has also crossed the 20-point mark in a game this season, in the opening day win over Oakland City.
  • Head coach Rusty Loyd enters contest with a career record of 82-59.  Loyd has led Rose-Hulman to one regular season confrence title and two appearances in the HCAC Tournament Championship Game.
  • Rose-Hulman leads Bluffton 16-10 in the HCAC era, with seven wins in the last 10 meetings.  The two teams split their pair of meetings last season.

  • Bluffton currently has four players averaging double figures in scoring.
  • Team scoring leaders include Andrew Renner (16.9 ppg); Aaron Rich (11.4); Dezman Brown (11.0); and Jameel Cosby (10.9).
  • Bluffton is led by 31st year head coach Guy Neal.
