Men's Basketball Travels to Franklin on Wednesday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology travels to Franklin College for a matchup against the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference leading Grizzlies on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.

  • Rose-Hulman has won 5 of its last 7 games to enter the tight battle in the HCAC standings.  Teams in positions 2-7 in the league standings are separated by just 1 game.
  • Craig McGee leads the HCAC in assists (7.2 apg) and ranks No. 2 in the league in scoring (18.1 ppg) and rebounding (8.5 rpg).
  • Craig McGee needs just 4 assists to move into No. 3 in Rose-Hulman history in the category.  McGee enters this game with career totals of 935 points, 391 rebounds and 374 assists as a three-year starter.
  • John Czarnecki joined McGee with a double-double, featuring 13 points and 14 rebounds, in the recent contest against Anderson.
  • Three players have crossed the 20-point mark in a game this season: Craig McGee (7 times); Zach Callahan (1 time) and Trey Wurtz (1 time).

  • The Grizzlies have all five starters averaging double figures in scoring, led by Matt Krause at 15.5 points per game.
  • Franklin averages 77.4 points per game this season and allows just 70.1.
  • Head coach/athletic director Kerry Prather (522-451, 37th year) is also currently serving as Interim President at Franklin.  Sixth-year assistant Brian Lebowitz is conducting the role of associate head coach.
