TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team travels to Franklin College for game two of the 2020-21 season on Saturday at 3 pm.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman picked up a 65-62 win over Franklin in its season opener on Thursday at Hulbert Arena.
* Dillon Duff led the offense with 18 points.  Craig McGee added 12 points, Jacob Back scored 11, and Zach Callahan had a career-high 11 rebounds.
* Senior Craig McGee was named the HCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year in 2020. The 3-time 1st-team all-HCAC honoree was also chosen 1st-team all-region by the NABC and 2nd-team D3hoops.com all-region last season.
* McGee is the only player in Rose-Hulman men's basketball history with 1,000 points, 400 rebounds and 400 assists. He has scored 1,154 points with 496 rebounds and ranks No. 2 in school history with 458 assists. The school record for assists is 484.
* Rusty Loyd was named to Silver Waves Media list of 50 Impactful Head Coaches in NCAA Division III men's basketball following the 2019-20 season.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish 2nd in the HCAC this season, in the preseason league coaches poll released on Monday.
* Rose-Hulman came up one point shy of an NCAA Division III Tournament trip in 2020, falling 49-48 at Transylvania in the HCAC Tournament Championship Game

FRANKLIN GAME NOTES:
* Sam Gutierrez led the Franklin offense with 19 points in Thursday's narrow loss at Rose-Hulman.
* Payton Mills added 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Ismail Jones was also in double figures with 11 points.
* Franklin was picked to finish 3rd in the HCAC this season, in the preseason league coaches poll released on Monday.
* Franklin's three losses are by a combined 12 points this season, including losses by two at Hanover and by three at Rose-Hulman.
* Franklin finished 17-9 last season and 13-5 in HCAC play.
