NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology split a pair of matches at Manchester University on Saturday, highlighted by a 5-set non-conference win over St. Mary's College.
The Fightin' Engineers defeated St. Mary's College 25-21, 25-27, 25-13, 19-25, 16-14 after falling to HCAC foe Manchester 25-14, 25-16, 26-24.
Against St. Mary's College,
Sophia Koop ended with 15 kills and 21 digs.
Kylie Rathbun finished with a career-high 41 digs.
Jillian Gregg recorded 20 assists and 15 digs, while
Elizabeth Canon chipped in 12 kills, 15 digs and a team-high seven service aces.
Sophia Harrison added 21 assists.Â
Allie Fults added five total blocks.
Canon had 10 kills and two service aces to lead the offense against Manchester. Harrison had 14 assists, Rathbun added 18 digs and Fults had a team-high three blocks.
The Fightin' Engineers return to Hulbert Arena on Wednesday, October 20 with a 10-13 overall record and a record 1-4 in the HCAC for a conference matchup with Anderson University. The match is scheduled to begin at 7pm.
