TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology honored its eight seniors prior to their final regular season home game, then scored three first half goals to defeat Bluffton University 4-0 in women's soccer action on Saturday.

Christina Rogers,
Sarah Shoemaker,
Alyssa Taylor and
Elle Vuotto prior to the game, then improved to 6-1-1 in conference play with the victory.
Rogers led the offense with her 7th and 8th goals of the season. She scored in the seventh minute on a pass from
Lane Lawrence, then made the score 2-0 in the 20th minute on a pass from Vuotto.
The lead reached 3-0 at halftime when
Kyra Hicks scored, courtesy of an assist from Lawrence.
Alicia Rodriguez rounded out the scoring with a goal in the 55th minute, off a crossing pass from
Jayden Gibson.
Rose-Hulman improved to 10-2-2 and 6-1-1 in HCAC play with the victory, while Bluffton dropped to 4-11 and 1-7. The Fightin' Engineers travel to Anderson University for the final regular season game on Oct. 27, before the 6-team HCAC Tournament begins on Oct. 30.
