BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Rose-Hulman women's swimming and diving team finished in 3rd place at the Illinois Wesleyan Halloween Invitational. Other teams that Rose-Hulman competed against were Illinois Wesleyan, Millikin University, and North Central College.
The Fightin' Engineers were led by a sweep of the 1-meter diving competition.Â
Audrey Hankins finished first with 190.15 points,
Reilly Foote placed second with 159 points, and
Chloe Koutsoumpas rounded out the top three with 155.20 points.
Other swimmers that finished in the top five in individual events were
Arya Ziegler in the 200-butterfly (2:46.89),
Natalija Pumpurs in the 200-backstroke (2:27.86), and
Megan Howell in the 200-breaststroke (2:58.94). Seven Rose-Hulman relay teams all finished in third place.
The team hosts Anderson University and Bluffton University on Saturday, November 6 in a tri-meet at the Rose-Hulman Natatorium at 1pm.
