TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team hosts Hanover College in the annual Homecoming Game and a showdown of perennial Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference title contenders on Saturday at 2 pm.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands 2-2 on the season with losses to a pair of 2019 NCAA Division III Playoff teams in Wabash (20-33) and Hope (20-27).  
* The Fightin' Engineers scored 42 unanswered points in the first half during last week's 63-14 win at Defiance.
* Andrew Dion ranks No. 2 in career passing yards (7887), No. 2 in career touchdown passes (73), and No. 3 in pass completions (568).  
* Dion needs 407 passing yards and 9 touchdown passes to become the career leader at Rose-Hulman in both categories.
* Noah Thomas holds the Rose-Hulman career school record for pass reception yards (3033).  
* Thomas ranks No. 2 all-time in pass receptions with 215 (4 shy of the school record) and receiving touchdowns with 30 (6 shy of the school record).
* Defensively, Michael Stevens leads the team with 38 tackles and Kyzer Bowen has 35.  
* Rashard Brown has added a team-high 2 interceptions, and Stevens returned an interception for a touchdown at Defiance.
* Michael Stevens (LB) and Shane Welshans (RB) were named first-team Preseason All-Americans by College Football America; and second-team preseason All-Americans by Lindy's Football Magazine.  Welshans was also a preseason second-team All-American from D3football.com.  

HANOVER NOTES:
* Hanover has won the last 3 HCAC championships and enters the Homecoming showdown on a 14-game HCAC winning streak dating to 2018.
* The Panthers have not lost an HCAC road game since 9/30/2017 at Mount St. Joseph.
* Matthew Weimer has thrown for 810 yards and 6 touchdowns in the season's first 4 games.
* Shawn Coane leads the Panthers with 376 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, and Hunter Eads leads the receivers with 256 yards and one score.
* Kyle Treber has a team-high 36 tackles, Devonte Hardiman leads the Panthers with 5.5 sacks, and Kiefer Askew has a team-high 2 interceptions.
