Women's Swim-Dive Takes 4 Firsts in Narrow Loss at Bethel

COMPLETE RESULTS

ELKHART, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on four first-place finishes to stay within striking distance of Bethel University in a narrow 136-114 team loss on Friday night at Elkhart Aquatic Center.

Individual winners included Audrey Hankins in 1-meter diving (195.85 points); Tori Kinnamon in the 1,000-freestyle (12:19.73); and Cate Stauffer in the 500-freestyle (5:49.87). 

The 200-freestyle relay team of Natalija Pumpurs, Riya Bharamaraddi, Brooke Covert, Therese Jaeger also won in 1:49.98.

Lauren Meyer led the runner-up performances with second in the 100-breaststroke (1:13.92), 200-breaststroke (2:40.90); and 200-individual medley (2:26.06).

Other second-place finishes included Brooke Covert in the 200-butterfly (2:42.34); Ella Hart in the 200-backstroke (2:43.11); Megan Howell in the 100-freestyle (1:01.62); Pumpurs in the 100-butterfly (1:06.58); and Stauffer in the 200-freestyle (2:08.85).

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Carthage Invitational on Dec. 2-4.
