ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team advanced to the championship game of the Marymount University Pablo Coto Tournament with a 69-64 win over Washington & Lee University on Saturday afternoon.
Rose-Hulman will face the host Marymount Saints on Sunday at 2 pm in the tournament championship game.
Terry Hicks led Rose-Hulman with his second career double-double. Hicks scored 13 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds in 35 minutes of action.
Max Chaplin matched Hicks with a game-high 13 points. Chaplin finished 4-8 from the field and 2-5 from three-point range with five rebounds.
Vuk Djuric joined Hicks with double-figure rebounds with an 8-point, 10-rebound performance.Â
Dillon Duff added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals to balance the Engineer attack.

Samvit Ram with 6 points;
Bradley Harden with 5 points; and
Trey Wurtz with 4 points and 2 rebounds.
Washington & Lee was led by Jack d'Entremont with 17 points and Robert DiSibio reached double figures with 12 points. The Fightin' Engineers defeated a historically solid Washington & Lee team under the direction of Chris McHugh who has a coaching record of 61-27 in 5 seasons.
Rose-Hulman shot 54% from the field and hit 6 three-pointers to hold off the Generals. The Fightin' Engineers will seek their first 3-0 start to the season since 2011-12 in Sunday's championship game.
