BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology advanced to the championship game of the Midwest Challenge with a 69-64 victory over Illinois Wesleyan in women's basketball action on Saturday at the Shirk Center.
With the victory, Rose-Hulman will face No. 10 ranked and unbeaten DePauw University in the Midwest Challenge championship game on Sunday at 3 pm Central Time also at Illinois Wesleyan.
Rowan Hein led the Rose-Hulman offense with career-high totals of 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.Â
Jamie Baum added 14 points and 6 rebounds to balance the scoring attack.
Jordan Barlow added an impressive double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Mira Randolph came off the bench with 7 points, including a three-pointer, for the Engineers.

Kahlan Jester with 4 points and 3 rebounds.
Illinois Wesleyan was led by Lauren Huber with 31 of the team's 64 points.
The Titans led 46-41 after the third quarter and held a 57-56 lead later into the fourth quarter. Hein buried a three-pointer to give Rose-Hulman a 59-57 lead with 2:19 remaining.
Huber tied the score on a layup with 45 seconds left in regulation, and both teams had a defensive stand on the last possession to put the game into overtime.
In the extra session, a layup by Barlow and two free throws from Burnham put Rose-Hulman ahead 63-59. Jester scored at the 1:52 mark to push the Engineers lead to 65-59. A score from Barlow and two free throws by Hein pushed the Engineers to their final margin of victory.
Rose-Hulman improved to 2-2 on the season, while Illinois Wesleyan stands 1-3. The Fightin' Engineers face 5-0 DePauw on Sunday at 3 pm Central Time in the Midwest Challenge championship game.
