TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team renews a historic in-state rivalry with a trip to Wabash College on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman won the Marymount Invitational as part of the team's first 3-0 start since the 1991-92 season. Â The Fightin' Engineers defeated Washington & Lee 69-64 and Marymount 65-60 to win the event.
*
Terry Hicks was named Marymount Tournament Most Valuable Player after averaging 15.5 points and 14.0 rebounds per game. Â Hicks was also named HCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his efforts. Â
Max Chaplin also earned a spot on the Marymount all-tourney team after averaging 15.0 points per game.
* Hicks and
Dillon Duff both led Rose-Hulman with 16 points in the team's most recent game, a narrow 72-66 loss to DePauw on Sunday at Hulbert Arena.
* Rose-Hulman has a roster featuring players from across the nation. Â The 18-player team comes to Terre Haute from nine different states.
* Head coach
Rusty Loyd enters this contest with a career NCAA coaching record of 108-69.  Loyd has led Rose-Hulman to one regular season HCAC title and three appearances in the HCAC Tournament Championship Game.
WABASH GAME NOTES:
* Wabash stands 3-2 on the season and is 1-0 in NCAC play after defeating Denison 92-87 on Sunday.
* Wabash defeated No. 13 ranked Emory 98-90 on Nov. 20 as part of the Great Lakes Invitational.
* Wabash will host the Great Lakes Invitational in 2022, and Rose-Hulman has been selected to be part of the elite field (

* Jack Davidson is widely considered one of the top players in NCAA Division III basketball. Davidson enters today's game with 1,756 career points.
