TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team (5-0 HCAC) travels to Franklin (3-2 HCAC) for a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday at 1:30 pm.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman would clinch a share of the HCAC regular season conference championship with a win at Franklin.  
* The Fightin' Engineers would clinch a bid to the NCAA Division III Football Playoffs with a win and a loss by Mount St. Joseph to Hanover on Saturday. 
* Rose-Hulman seeks its second NCAA Division III Playoff appearance in school history this season.  The Fightin' Engineers previously appeared in the 2016 NCAA Playoffs.
* The Fightin' Engineers lead the HCAC with a perfect 5-0 record in league games.  Rose-Hulman's biggest win was the 31-21 Homecoming win over Hanover that snapped the Panthers 14-game conference winning streak.
* Rose-Hulman junior Chaikou Sow is the reigning HCAC Defensive Player of the Week and Jonathan Oliger is the current HCAC Special Teams Player of the Week.  
* Sow returned an interception 62 yards for a touchdown and recovered a fumble, while Oliger was 2-3 on field goals with a 42-yarder and 6-6 on extra points.
* Andrew Dion holds career school records for career passing yards (8820) and career touchdown passes (85).  He also ranks No. 2 in school history with 649 career completions.
* Noah Thomas holds Rose-Hulman career school records for pass receptions (232) and receiving yards (3327).  Thomas also ranks No. 2 in school history with 32 receiving touchdowns (4 shy of the school record).
* Defensively, Michael Stevens leads the team with 65 tackles and has 143 in his career.  Kyzer Bowen has 12 TFLs, Tyce Miller leads the team with 5 INTs, and Deven Cobb has a team-high 3.5 sacks.

FRANKLIN NOTES:
* Jireh Okata leads NCAA Division III with 12.5 sacks this season.  Okata had a season-high 3 sacks in last week's 13-7 win over Defiance.
* Franklin has passed for 1,775 yards and rushed for 1,114 with a balanced offensive attack.  
* Dane Andrews is the passing leader with 1,243 yards.  Garrett Cora has a team-high 589 rushing yards.  Jarrett Gibson has a team-high 661 receiving yards.
* Franklin needs one more win to secure its third consecutive winning season.
