TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving team beat Anderson University on Saturday afternoon 149-123. This win marks the women's first team win of the season.
The 200-medley relay team of
Natalija Pumpurs,
Lauren Meyer,
Megan Howell, and
Therese Jaeger captured the first win on the day with a time of 2:00.65.
Natalija Pumpurs led the Fightin' Engineers with three wins. Pumpurs won the 50-backstroke (30.91), the 100-backstroke (1:06.81), and the 50-butterfly (28.37).
Meyer and Jaeger each recorded two wins on the day. Meyer won the 50-breaststroke (33.01) and the 100-breaststroke (1:13.23). Jaeger was victorious in the 100-freestyle (1:00.95) and the 400-IM (5:15.64).
Cate Stauffer secured another victory in the 1000-freestyle with a time of 11:45.47.
The team returns to action on Friday, November 19 at Bethel College in Elkhart, Ind.
