TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team hits the road for Transylvania University and the HCAC opener on Saturday at 3 pm.
ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman won the Marymount Invitational as part of the team's first 3-0 start since the 1991-92 season. Â The Fightin' Engineers defeated Washington & Lee 69-64 and Marymount 65-60 to win the event.

Terry Hicks was named Marymount Tournament Most Valuable Player after averaging 15.5 points and 14.0 rebounds per game. Â Hicks was also named HCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his efforts. Â
Max Chaplin also earned a spot on the Marymount all-tourney team after averaging 15.0 points per game.

Terry Hicks scored 13 points each, and
Dillon Duff added 12 points in Rose-Hulman's narrow 67-64 loss at Wabash on Wednesday.
* Rose-Hulman has a roster featuring players from across the nation. Â The 18-player team comes to Terre Haute from nine different states.
* Head coach
Rusty Loyd enters this contest with a career NCAA coaching record of 108-70.  Loyd has led Rose-Hulman to one regular season HCAC title and three appearances in the HCAC Tournament Championship Game.
TRANSYLVANIA GAME NOTES:
* Transylvania stands 3-1 on the season and 0-1 in HCAC play after falling 92-91 to Franklin in overtime on Wednesday.
* Zach Larimore leads four Pioneers averaging double figures at 18.3 points per game.
* Other double figure scorers include Colby Napier (13.3 ppg), Hunter Penn (12.5 ppg, 14.8 rpg) and Brandon Cromwell (10.5 ppg).
