SATURDAY MORNING HEAT SHEET
KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving team finished in 9th place at the Carthage Invitational.
The event includes some of the top ranked teams in NCAA Division III Midwest women's swimming and diving.
THURSDAY RECAP
The top Rose-Hulman 800-freestyle relay team led the overall performance on Thursday with a 13th place finish.Â
Cate Stauffer,
Tori Kinnamon,
Lauren Meyer and
Natalija Pumpurs came home in a time of 8:39.76. Stauffer also led individual performers with a 14th place finish in the 1650-freestyle (19:26.25).
FRIDAY RECAP
Rose-Hulman recorded six finishes in the top 16 of Friday night's action.
Natalija Pumpurs paced the Fightin' Engineer performance with a 10th place finish in the 200-backstroke with a time of 2:23.84.
Cate Stauffer added a 12th place in the 500-freestyle in a time of 5:34.00.
Lauren Meyer came home with a pair of top-16 finishes. Meyer placed 14th in the 200-individual medley (2:21.88) and 16th in the 100-butterfly (1:02.98).
The 200-freestyle and 400-medley relay teams also came home in 16th. The 200-freestyle team of
Brooke Covert,
Riya Bharamaraddi,
Ella Hart and
Hayden Mattick finished in 1:49.68. The 400-medley relay of Pumpurs, Meyer,
Tori Kinnamon and
Therese Jaeger finished in 4:28.53.
SATURDAY RECAP
Saturday's efforts moved the women's team up one place from Friday, from 10th place to 9th.Â
Tori Kinnamon was the top finisher for Rose-Hulman on Saturday with an 8th place finish in the 200-butterfly. Her time was 2:23.40.
The 200-medley relay team finished 13th with a time of 1:59.16. Members of the relay team included
Natalija Pumpurs,
Lauren Meyer,
Megan Howell, and
Therese Jaeger.
Two Fightin' Engineers landed top-20 places in the 400-IM. Jaeger finished with a time of 5:08.56 in 18th place, and Meyer finished 20th in a time of 5:12.94.
Pumpurs added a 14th place finish in the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:03.57.
Meyer finished 15th in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:12.58.
